Unlocking Our Doors

Hey Family!

First of all, we are beyond proud of you because you have persevered through limitations of space and lack of equipment to keep training and progressing to your goals.

Before the quarantine, many of you came in when you could, while others followed via Facebook Live.  When we were forced to lock the doors, you continued to adapt as all of our classes went to an online format.  Some of you ran into scheduling issues and we pushed past it by taking the Zoom lessons and posting them Live in our Facebook Group.  This structure gave everyone access to training opportunities 24/7.  Many of you also took advantage of the 50+ additional Lesson Plans and attached Videos from us and guest instructors in other states to continue chasing after your goals.

We worked to keep you motivated by giving away fitness balls, resistance bands, and more. We’ve even raffled off multiple one-hour private lessons, as well as six free punching bags!

We’ve learned that we have the ability and means to give more to all of our students, which includes those that are in different cities and states.  Most importantly, it has solidified the lessons we learn every day in the martial arts. The power is ours to stay focused on our goals while being humble, remaining patient, showing gratitude, and walking with discipline.

Brandyn, Dyana, Vlad, and I want to thank you again for your determination and loyalty.  We love each one of you; and can’t wait for us to all be back together again, pushing harder than ever.   Honestly, without a great group of students, we would just be working out in our garages and backyards.  Wait, that’s what we have been doing!  Well, you know what I mean.  Your drive and desire to see this through, has been awesome to witness, and we are proud to have you as our students.

We are excited to announce that after carefully weighing out our options, we are choosing to unlock our doors and begin a safe process of Face to Face (F2F) Private Lessons starting Monday, May 18th.  There will be a series of protocols that we will all be following to keep you, your fellow students, and your instructors safe.

We are slowly reaching out to each of you to schedule one on one lessons with us. Our goal is to build each of you back up while making sure we institute and maintain quality control on the protocols we are putting in place.  As May passes, we will start to review this process and look to open back up our semi-private sessions that many of you love. All scheduled sessions will remain in place as they have been over this time.  As a bonus, we are adjusting our schedule based on demand and evolving from one 30 minute MMA Boot Camp to THREE per week!  These will be scheduled Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 630pm.  These will be free for all of our students to participate.  So if you are running behind, you can join the MMA Boot Camp live and then replay your Kickboxing MMA Class afterward.  Stay tuned in our Facebook Group for the Lesson Plan Updates, as well as the advancements in our schedule.  We can’t wait to see you all pushing harder than ever!

Martial Way Legacy Safety Protocols

  1. Arrive five minutes early maximum to help us keep everyone’s lessons running smoothly.

  2. Please wait outside until we are ready to start your lesson.

  3. All you need is wraps and/or gloves. As we start back up we will be featuring most of the training on our punching bags so that our coaches may maintain a safe distance for you. If possible, arrive dressed to train. The less we bring into your school the better.

  4. Coaches and staff will track attendance for you; however there is an additional waiver that must be signed.

  5. Upon entering school, please go to the bathroom and wash your hands for the recommended time.

  6. All lounging areas are off-limits so please only sit down on the mats to change your shoes, stretch, etc.

  7. Let your coach know if you would like them to wear a mask. You are not required to wear a mask.

  8. Our water station will be temporarily off-limits. Please bring all your water to stay hydrated.

  9. Ultimately everything you touch has to be cleaned so please try to keep it to a minimum to help us keep you and everyone else safe.

  10. When your session is complete, please clean all your equipment as well as wash your hands once again before leaving. Coaches will clean all the school equipment.

  11. Please follow all CDC recommended guidelines. If you are feeling ill or even just off, let us be safe and reschedule. There is no reason to push through a little cough or sniffle. Help us keep you and everyone safe. There are plenty of ways you can continue training online with us from home while being safe.

  12. As our new equipment arrives within the next week, we will be initiating external temperature checks as well as eliminating all bacteria in the school with an Ozone Machine that will run after everyone leaves.

Welcome back!  Let's stay safe and train hard!!!
