Step By Step
These last few weeks have been going by so fast! We’ve been playing catch up with the “normal” step by step things we do inside our school every month. Included in this has been revamping our Activity Calendar, Announcements, and Monthly Star Boards that we use to update our students. Step by step, we are progressing through the Phases we created which is bringing us closer to opening our doors to the public. We’ve taken these extra precautions with a longer and more challenging road compared to other facilities to keep our students and instructors safe.
When we started down this path, our goal was to build our return into four Phases. Taking it slowly in this manner would allow us to implement Safety Protocols (see the list at the end) that our Instructors and STORM Team could maintain for themselves and each student. As we gain success in each one of these Phases, our students' and instructors' confidence grows.
Phase One gave our students both Virtual Training with Facebook Live Classes going along at the same time as our Interactive Zoom Classes. This format gave everyone the chance to continue training anywhere and at any time with us. During this time, we began to reach out to our students to start scheduling free private lessons to bring them back to the school for face to face (F2F) training.
As our comfort level progressed, we entered Phase Two 14 days ago, which allowed us to bring back our regular private lesson students for F2F training while remaining at a safe distance. We have experienced success with this format as well and have been excited to move towards our next phase.
Over the last week, we have started communicating with each of the free one on one students in efforts to set them up on the calendar for Phase Three. Here we will be opening up the schedule for semi-private lessons and doing three on one instruction. Each group of three will have an instructor responsible for helping them both with the Safety Protocols as well as class material. Success here will take us one step closer to Phase Four, which is where we will unlock the doors for new students and start to schedule Introductory Lessons.
Our viewpoint is that within every challenge comes an opportunity. This time has been a reminder for us to get back to our mission of private and semi-private instruction on the mats. That being said, we are going to bring back something we think will help everyone. If you are interested in our help setting goals and crushing them, then this opportunity might be for you.
We will be entering our Phase Four Monday, July 6th, with new progressions in all of our classes, including the Tigers Youth, Kickboxing MMA, Advanced MMA, and our new MMA Boot Camp. All new students who register for our Introductory Program will now receive a free pair of gloves, four weeks of training, and also TWO FREE PRIVATE LESSONS with our Instructors! This opportunity will give you the direction and momentum to go farther with your training towards your goals.
Registration for the Two Free Private Lessons and the Introductory Program is now available for one person per week. So if you are serious about your training take action while there are available spaces. Click HERE to receive your free pair of gloves, four weeks of training, and two private lessons on our new Introductory Program for only $19.97.

Martial Way Legacy Safety Protocols:
Arrive five minutes early maximum to help us keep everyone’s lessons running smoothly.
Please wait outside until we are ready to start your lesson.
Kickboxing MMA students only need wraps and/or gloves. Tigers Youth students need their folders and gloves. Advanced MMA student please bring all of the above as well as your weapons. MMA Boot Camp please bring a towel for extra resistance exercises. As we start back up we will be featuring most of the training on our punching bags so that our coaches may maintain a safe distance for you. If possible, arrive dressed to train. The less we bring into your school the better.
When you enter you will be required to do a temperature check. We realize it is getting hotter with summer so if you read a warmer temperature (99+) we will have you rest for a little bit and recheck your temperature. If it stays 99+ after a few minutes of cooling off we reserve the right to reschedule your lesson.
Upon entering school, please go to the bathroom and wash your hands for the recommended time.
Coaches and staff will track attendance for you; however there is an additional waiver that must be signed.
All lounging areas are off-limits so please only sit down on the mats to change your shoes, stretch, etc.
Let your coach know ahead of time if you would like them to wear a mask. You are not required to wear a mask.
Our water station will be temporarily off-limits. Please bring all your water to stay hydrated.
We will continue to purify our air by running 90 minute Ozone Machine Treatments of the facility overnight.
