Revitalizing Bull Creek Greenbelt Trail and Celebrating with a Splash
Larry St Clair
Martial Way Legacy had the incredible privilege of hosting a weekend event that combined a park clean-up at Bull Creek Greenbelt Trail, followed by a pool party to celebrate and beat the summer heat. The experience was a celebration of community, nature, and good times.
We started early, before temperatures got too hot, with an enthusiastic group of students gathered at the Bull Creek Greenbelt Trail for a remarkable park clean-up effort. Armed with gloves and garbage bags, we meticulously combed through the trail removing litter of all types. To our surprise, there was far less trash on this section, which was a true pleasure to discover, and gave us a great hope and paved the way for ideas to clean up other parts of the trail at later dates in the year.
After a morning of hard work, it was time to unwind and embrace the joys of summer at our much-anticipated pool party. Located conveniently nearby, the recreational area became our oasis of relaxation and laughter. The glistening pool beckoned us to dive in and let the cool waters wash away the heat of the day.
The grills were a sight to behold, working their magic to create tasty wonders. Accompanied by a medley of crisp vegetables, salads, fresh fruits, and thirst-quenching beverages, the feast was a testament to our hard work and community!
The weekend event, featuring the Bull Creek Greenbelt Trail clean-up followed by an unforgettable pool party, provided an unrivaled experience of unity, rejuvenation, and pure enjoyment that our Summer of Fun events always bring to life.
Keep an eye out for our two events in August, the Summer of Fun Camp Out at Lake Georgetown August 4th and 5th, and then our Summer of Fun Field Day on Sunday, August 27th.
