We met with Lubbock’s Chapter of A Girl and A Gun (AGAG) for six hours of amazing training. Our goal was to give the participants a solid foundation that can be used when a firearm isn't available.
It was awesome to watch everyone’s confidence grow as we progressed through both lectures and hands on training.
The programs we taught included:
Improvised Weapons: (coming soon online) Learn how to use what’s around you in an emergency turning everyday objects into “weaponized” tools to defend yourself.
Unarmed Defense: (available online) Learn essential techniques, flow drills, and strategies to help you defend yourself and enhance your awareness.
Knife Level One: (available online with Level Two as well) Learn strategies to build your confidence against a knife-wielding assailant. These skills will help you against the most common threats when a knife is being used.
Weapon Disarms: (coming soon online) Learn how to understand commonality of motion to disarm a knife or a firearm. Use leverage points while engaging tactile reflexes, and gain a better understanding of how to address these situations.
We have had the privilege to work as AGAG Conference Instructors for the past four years and can’t wait for the 2020 Conference. Thank you Lubbock Chapter of AGAG for sponsoring us and we are looking forward to sharing these programs more in the future with everyone.
