Back in the day we organized a really amazing event called our Formal Awards Banquet and Dinner. Preparation for this normally starts months before as we give out requests for students to nominate their peers for awards. As we gather the nominations, we create ballots so that the entire school can vote. We calculate the votes and create certificates for each winner. The awards offer unique titles from many super heroes like the “Robin Award” which is for the best partner (aka Batman and Robin).
Once the awards are set, we host a Formal where everyone gets dressed up to attend. While at the event we enjoy some delicious food and celebrate each others accomplishments. This year we also added a school wide compiled playlist for music as well as a photo booth with props. These were huge hits!
Special thank you to our STORM Team and our Coaches / Instructors. They set up, cut, cooked, and tore down the entire event. You guys rock!
